Locomotive 174, could’ve painted the Phase VII few years ago to celebrate its 50th Anniversary!!! This joins 46, 100, and 108, which are three newer ones among to the older ones!!!

They forgot to add the “Amtrak 50” logo for the celebration of the 50th Anniversary Paint Scheme! Locomotive 164 could’ve joined 161, 130, and 145 that are a bit older!!!

If only that would have been a full express freight I'd hate to see the result's

I rode on this train from Chicago to Flagstaff In April 2019.

The P42DCs are lining up at the Beech Grove Shops, outside Indianapolis, are getting ready to have the Phase VII painted for the future.

Even though I missed this, I hope to catch something similar again as more Genesis engines are painted into Phase 7.

i wish 7081 and 6988 be steamed for Excursions.

If you did a video like this using both the inside shots from your actual journey as well as outside shots for both the Southwest Chief and Pacific Surfliner, perhaps you should do video's like this for the California Zephyr, Empire Builder, Coast Starlight and Sunset Limited if you haven't already.

I remember you saying you train was delayed and based on the PA announcements, by about 2 hours. That's not bad for this route as I've seen it being 4 or 5 hours late.

I remember when I was a kid I used to hate the high pitched whistle on the #6 but I think I've grown to actually love the sound of it. It's almost a haunting sound you don't get with the mid to low pitched whistles even with how obcenely loud it is.

wow St Louis holding on to Union Station i was around during the 1985 relaunch and again for the 2020 relaunch its absolutely beautiful today.. the hotel, the aquarium , the St Louis Wheel i hope the operations stick this time
